What Are Scrapes and Crossovers?

In simple terms, a scrape is exactly what it sounds like. When playing a scrape, your arm moves across the drum playing 2 or more different drums with one stroke. Crossovers are also self explanatory. Crossovers are just a technique used to add a flashy visual to your playing. All a crossover is just crossing your arms/hands over to play on different drums. Both are self explanatory, but they a little harder than how they sound. Crossovers aren't that difficult but scrapes will be a challenge.
